Setting goals and sticking to them

I have always had trouble loosing weight. I think because I set my goals too high and exspected to reach them to fast. But now that I am using the right approach I am seeing success. I now know that goals are met one step at a time. And some goals take time. I have continued a steady approach on a daily bases and I am seeing results with this approach. I am happy to say I have lost another 5 pounds for a total of 28 pounds. I have joined a gym and I am enjoying my work outs which is Zumba. Find exercise you enjoy. Drink water. And cut down on portions. Limit salt and sugar but do not deprive your self. I hope my share success will help you be successful also.

  1. Wonderful! wonderful! I have a friend is is down about 40 pounds in the last 10 months or so. Does not deprive herself, but very careful of portion control. diagnosed pre diabetic about a year ago and her MD has her counting carbs which has worked for her. She uses the Leslie Sansone in home walking videos for exercise & it has worked for her. Sounds like you what you have found for you is working also. congratulations!
